The video input triggers audio signals formed by a separate synth module. These noises then trigger further non-linear midi signals to create a second level of background ambience (the crackly insect-type sounds in the background). Here I'm trying to make several complex layers that are not pre-determined but still interrelated.

Continuing my experimentation with using midi to form unpredictable, non-linear sounds that contribute towards an 'environment'. This time as an input trigger I used a the flickering of a candle. The OpenCV library attempts to trace the threshold of light created around the candle.
